This dress is handmade by me for my daughter for valentine’s day. I used pattern simplicity 1245 with some modifications.

I like to decorate, so I make cloths for my dolls for various seasons to display. This dress was made using Crabapples’ School Girl dress pattern.

“Kitty, I Love You!” was my a photo of the Valentine scene I made this year. My doll is Charlotte, a Harmony Club Doll. She is wearing a dress made by me, that reminds me of some of the dressy dresses I had when I was little. The pattern was Blanche from Create Kids Couture and was highly modified by me. The dress is white cotton and features, double needle shadow tucks made with contrasting thread in the needles and bobbin, the bodice also features a sash and shoulder bows made from a pink and white heart print, a scooped off the shoulder neckline, and tiny snaps to close the back. The ruffles also feature a scalloped edge made with a built in stitch on my machine. The ruffles also feature tulle under layers made in pink to match the machine embroidery thread. Her bow and panties also feature the scallop stitching and the bow features the tulle and a hear shaped button. She also wears a full white petticoat made with two layers of net and one layer of tulle. Her shoes feature heart cutouts and she wears a bead necklace and bracelet. The petti, panties, hair bow and jewelry are my own designs. Her Beanie Boo kitty, Bianca, holds an American Girl Valentine “Cookie” arrangement and is sitting on an American Girl Samantha wicker chair. I had a lot of fun making the outfit, and she looks lovely in it.

Be My Valentine photo. Both girls are wearing a Lucy Dress from Gennie Wren Designs. The Heart print Lucy Dress is being modeled by June, an Our Generation Doll. June’s dress is embellished with a squiggly line and bordered with lace. The Red Polka Dot Lucy Dress is being modeled by a Truly Me AG Doll. Her dress is embellished with a line of hearts on the insert and bordered with rick rack. Both girls are posed with a Valentine’s Day card to complete their outfit.

In Valentine Chocolate Strawberries pix, both American girl dolls are wearing pattern from Liberty Lane pattern, PixieFaire. Abilyne is wearing the Doll Duds Polo Shirt Dress, in which I just made the top, this is made out of an old red t-shirt w/ white cotton collar, if look closely you might see the heart buttons on this top, as well as heart deco in her hair. Its pair with Isabelle Pintuck shorts, made from the same white cotton material. Saige is wearing King Canyon Peplum top made from a satin/silk material with pink and red hearts all other. This was my first attempt working with such material and let me tell you, I am not a fan. This top is pair with the bubble skirt(I think thats what it was call) which I found on YouTube videos. The girls are posed in their kitchen, in which, Abilyne has just taken another Valentine’s Chocolate Strawberry out of the oven, to place it on the decorated table with Valentine heart napkins.
