Today: A Peek Inside the Future Studio Matilda!

About Kristin Rutten

Kristin Rutten is the creator, owner and operator of Matilda Jo Originals. Born and raised in Montana, she first learned to sew on her grandmother's antique Singer sewing machine by cutting out and stitching a simple nine-square pillow. Other projects soon followed and she has been crafting and sewing ever since. In addition to sewing and pattern design, she also enjoys crocheting, scrapbooking and designing WordPress websites, including sister company iCreateForDolls.com. She makes her home in Central Montana with her husband and four children, ages 9 to 22.

It looks like it’s going to be a great room Kristin. Lucky you! I think it is a fun idea to share your videos of the progress of this project. We can all dream along with you. What girl wouldn’t want her own sewing room, right? Good luck on your new space. 🙂

Will do Dianne… I’m planning to dedicate at least one video a month to those updates… more if things get moving more quickly. And you’re welcome… if you sew up a towel, I’d love to see it! 🙂
